Frank M. Young began his writing career in 1980 at age 17. He has thousands of newspaper and magazine articles with his byline, plus a stack of books including the Eisner Award‐winning graphic novel The Carter Family: Don't Forget This Song (created with artist David Lasky). He has also worked as a newspaper and magazine editor, film reviewer and researcher. Young is also a musician and songwriter and a popular-culture historian whose writings on music and comic art have been widely published. Never Odd or Even is his first book for Stark House. He lives and creates in Oak Grove, Oregon.
